AIBU about best friend being secretive?

we have been friends since childhood, sometimes not very close, she works in childcare sector so i understand about confidentiality but she has been stressed with a work situation but says she cant tell me about it, i understand but as her best mate i feel abit put out that she doesnt trust me that i wont talk about it with anyone else

what do u think, maybe im being too insensitive?

Confidentiality will be in her contract.
If she blabs and gets caught she will be sacked.

Give her a hug and a bottle of wine but don't expect the gossip.

Tbh one of my markers for good friends is how little they tell me about other peoples stuff, work or personal. Shows they'd respect your confidential things too.

What Morloth says. I work as a tax accountant which does not compare in terms of sensitivity with what your friend does and there are many times when I tell my husband that I cannot tell him things. YABU
