i know i know that GPs are very busy and that there's nothing they can do a about viruses etc. etc.
but, i seem to always have a sore throat, i've just looked back at my running log for last year and diary and worked that i've had at least 6 or 7 bad throat infections in the last year and even between them i've had a sore throat at least every month for a few days.
the last few times i've looked into my throat and i have red nodules on my tonsils with yellow heads (sorry) but more worrying, on the back of my throat behind my uvula (sp?) i have red ulcer like areas, these always appear in exactly the same pattern and places
it seems like i am able to fight the sore throat into remission with fluids, sleep and really healthy eating / vitamin supplements, but it never actually really goes away.
so AIBU to make an appt? and take time off work to attend? (even though i'm not too ill to actually work). will the GP just sigh at me and explain that it's 'just a common virus' etc. etc.?
