1) I do not care what your name is. No doubt your mum is very proud, but the rest of us just want to hear the news/weather/next song not have to wait while someone announces their name as though it is far more important than any of those. 2) Full stops come at the end of sentences. Not in the middle. The same applies in spoken English. Do not leave massive gaps in. The middle of sentences and then leave no gaps at all between the end of the sentence and the next section so that it sounds like it was the Queen who scored a goal for Chelsea. 3) If you are doing the travel news and don't know the area --because you're too lazy to have a little drive around before you start the job-- , ask someone how you pronounce the bloody place names before you start talking. 4) Just SHUT UP. Please. You think you're being so funny/clever. You're not.
