flamegirl77 · 14/01/2012 14:43

15 weeks

shouldabeenwashedinajug · 14/01/2012 14:43

8 weeks for DD1, I remember being VERY upset by it Blush

DD2 I can't even remember Blush Blush

ragged · 14/01/2012 14:44

Dunno, I remember the MWs commenting that he was "snuffly" when he was still very very tiny. I thought that was normal. Blush
I didn't really do PFB. Inexperienced Daftness, yes, but PFB passed me by in 99% of things.

Ds got bronchi at 8 weeks but he was about 18 months before he got just a cold, he likes to do things in style!

banana87 · 14/01/2012 14:53

I actually can't remember Blush

But 6 weeks for DD2 Sad

lukewarm · 14/01/2012 14:54

1 year for dd1

About 2 weeks for dd2, and has not stopped since!

JugsMcGee · 14/01/2012 14:54

9 months. Think we got lucky!

gastrognome · 14/01/2012 14:57

3 months for DD1. 3 weeks for DD2!

leftmymistletoeatthedoor · 14/01/2012 14:57

Ds was about 4/5 months I think. Dd was about 2 weeks.

Albrecht · 14/01/2012 14:58

About 4 months I think - was a horrible upset stomach, snotty thing which lasted ages.

OvO · 14/01/2012 14:59

Just over 1 year. For both of my DC.

lovelyredwine · 14/01/2012 15:01

9 months

JustHecate · 14/01/2012 15:01

God knows. It was 12 years ago and I can barely remember the milestone stuff Blush

If I had to guess, I'd say within the first few months. Probably.

But I seem to recall babies are rather snotty much of the time, cold or no Grin

1Catherine1 · 14/01/2012 15:01

Z9 months. She got a chest infection too so it lasted about 3 weeks

TheLaineyWayIsEssex · 14/01/2012 15:03

About 3.5 weeks! It was last Christmas and were staying at PILs, the entire house came down with it. Really nasty cold, he didn't stand a chance Sad
then again at 7.5 mos and pretty much constantly ever since thanks to teething

belgo · 14/01/2012 15:03

at 9 months.

mrspear · 14/01/2012 15:10

Full on head cold around 22 months believe it or not before that he had sniffles pretty much since he was born. It seemed to coincide with me stopping breast feeding.

blackcurrants · 14/01/2012 15:16

6-7 weeks, I think. It was definitely the end of the world!
Now (18 months) I just try to do a decontamination wipe before he lunges in for a cuddle, leaving snot on my shoulder Grin

CokeFan · 14/01/2012 15:39

10 days. DH was ill as she was born, I was ill when I came out of hospital and then she caught it. We reckon that "general immunity" is just rubbish. What we could really have done with is "specific immunity" to what she had.

entropygirl · 14/01/2012 15:46

I am assuming that all second and onwards DC's are permanent snot bags......

Thanks for the data :) I feel a bit better although 29 months is very impressive....

This seems pretty mild so far....but I can feel the evil moving in her chest when she coughs....

6 - 8 weeks with all four children. They were all exclusively breast fed, so much for natural immunity!

I was very upset at the time, but they are all strapping teenagers now so it made no difference long term.

I discovered saline nasal drops were useful for helping stuffy, infant noses, but I don't know if they are still available.
