I appreciate some people can't due to illness, not talking about that. Nor am I talking about people who have experienced trauma and abuse. I'm talking about generally 'healthy' couples.

Speaking from my own personal viewpoint, I love my DH but he's got a low sex drive...and to put not too fine a point on it, I'm considering options.

If he wanted it more, this would be resolved. An easy solution wouldn't you think? For anyone in this situation.

YY to Geordie. I would like to think that I would never cheat, but even when you have a normal healthy exciting sex life at home, a little flirt is fun. If your DPs idea of a fulfilling sex life is to go straight to twirling your already sensitive in a bad way nipples (even after being told not to s million fucking times) and then sticking it in, just friendly eye contact with another vaguely attractive man is going to be nice. Then if he starts telling you you are beautiful and occasionally brushing your arm you are going to get goosebumps and feel that warmth in your stomach. Your eyes will sparkle and you will feel like you felt when you first met DP and he watched you in the moonlight while lying on a beach and whispered in your ear that you were the single most beautiful person he had ever seen. When his hands shook because all he wanted to do was touch you. When he would spend hours just running his hand up and down your bare neck and back because he worked out that by doing it lightly he can make your nipples hard and get you so close to climax that he only has to suggest touching you elsewhere and you begged for him to.

I do think though that the thrill people end up seeking outside of an otherwise 'normal' healthy relationship is one that reminds you of when you first met your OH, IYSWIM? It's weird, isn't it? Why is there this perpetual myth that all DHs/DPs are gagging for it 24/7 and that women are the ones that go off sex? It seems, anecdotally on here anyway, that often it is the other way round.
