to sign up to NCT antenatal classes for a SECOND DC??

We have just moved to a new area many many miles from where we previously lived so we don't know anyone really.

We did NCT classes with our first DC and they were great as we made lots of friends and DS had friends his age which was great.

AIBU to sign up again for this purpose??? Would the others in the class think it wierd that this wasn't our first (everyone in my previous NCT class was having their first).

Thoughts??

One of the others said "well you obviously didn't spend enough time preparing as that's why you failed"!

I also did the refresher course - we have moved to a new area and I wanted to meet people.

It was actually really useful -there were a lot of things specifically related to a second baby that were covered.

The group was small - only 4 couples - all with first children aged 2.5 to 3.5 and everyone was much more relaxed than my very precious first-time NCT group in London.

Definitely worth doing.

I dont think they do refresher courses in my area (cornwall). ive looked on the nct website but cant seem to see anything hmmmm
