She looks bloody awful after her Botox, fillers and goodness knows what.

It's funny that it makes us feel sad though, isn't it?

I think it must absolutely awful for you if you were once a celebrated beauty, and have to deal with losing your looks....especially if your entire life is based on those looks!

What will they look like when they are 60?!Shock

daenerysstormborn · 09/01/2012 10:31

i always thought the most stunning of all the supermodels was christy turlington, don't think she's gone 'cat face' yet.

OTheHugeManatee · 09/01/2012 10:31

I saw a photo of Cindy Crawford the other day and thought 'oh no, she just looks like all the rest of them now' Sad

I think it's desperately sad the way famous women who all had distinct, beautiful, individual looks in their 20s gradually all start to look identical as they age thanks to the 'interventions' that are supposed to keep them looking young. It's not even a nice look. It's just creepy.

Helltotheno · 09/01/2012 10:37

It's because they feel they have to stay so thin... basically, over 40, it's either the face or the bod. They're pretty much all too skinny, as a result their faces start looking gaunt, hence the filler, trout lips etc. Can't understand why they don't realise it looks generic and awful.

lubeybooby · 09/01/2012 10:38

It makes their eyes so piggy, it's horrible.

ZZZenAgain · 09/01/2012 10:38

but if we all think it looks awful, why don't they see that too? I don't mind if women want to dress their appearance in some way, even to the point of operations. It is up to them IMO. But why do something that makes you look bad, that bit I really cannot understand - the apple cheeks, the puffed out upper lips and so on. Who ever thought that looked attractive?

What I don't understand is why these women think they actually look better after doing that to themselves. They clearly don't. Don't they see what the rest of us see when they look at each other? How can they not see that they are just making themselves look odd?

ZZZenAgain · 09/01/2012 10:42

that was a particularly unflattering photo of her but how old is she now I wonder? I expect when she married Donald Trump she was probably very pretty

runningwilde · 09/01/2012 10:43

Pmsl at the mrs doubtfire reference - yes, they do look like that!

runningwilde · 09/01/2012 10:44

A CC link that works please?!

daenerysstormborn · 09/01/2012 10:45

a few years ago, jocelyn wildenstein looked like a freak, put her with that lot now and they all look the same.

PostBellumBugsy · 09/01/2012 10:49

and this is how she looked in 1988 - theghay.tumblr.com/post/5376290977/cindy-crawford-photographed-by-avedon-makeup-is

I may not look as young & fresh as I did in 1988, but I do still look like me!

Sad
piratecat · 09/01/2012 10:55

blimey, i just don't get how they think it looks normal.

they have tons of money, and seem to get these weird things done. Yet i guess in their social circles that cat look is the 'norm', and they all strive to look the same.

crazy. I cannot believe that Kylie would bother, or that she somehow looked hideously old and drudgy beforehand. Wonder what it 'takes' for someone like that to go 'oh god LOOK, i look awful'

mrsjay · 09/01/2012 11:06

I just dont know how they think that its a good look , do they look int he mirror and go wow obviously they do , you can see when somebody has had too much work done its ofter a shiny faced suprised looked , spose if they are happy to look like that then good on them but imo it just looks daft ,

pipoca · 09/01/2012 11:28

saw pix of michelle pfeiffer recently looking very natural...wrinkles and all and great for her age!

EmmaBemma · 09/01/2012 11:29

Famous actresses/models beyond their thirties who haven't had some sort of cosmetic procedure are very much a rare breed, I'd say - the only difference is the quality of the work and thus how obvious it is.

I wouldn't do it but then I'm not a famous actress/model! I can understand the insecurities that go with ageing in a profession that values looks above all else.

Chandon · 09/01/2012 11:29

pipoca, i thought that too! She has great bone structure though...

Bearcrumble · 09/01/2012 12:18

She looks like she's turned in to Janice Dickenson.

Pinot · 09/01/2012 12:23

If it came down to a choice of looking like Joan Rivers or Judi Dench...I am astounded that they'd choose the former.
