AIBU to be amazed at the lack of humanity shown by some members on the AIBU forum?

Absolutely shocking. I'm not naive enough to expect everyone to agree on everything, but I read quite a lot of venom on the AIBU page. Can't we be measured and civil when thinking someone is BU and (wonders if she's really asking too much) kind in response to posters who are experiencing upset?

It only upsets me in the way that some women are so pathetic they can't make the simplest of decisions without checking with random strangers if its acceptable lol

Sometimes people are really unkind to people who don't do as they're told even if what everyone is telling them to do is patently ridiculous. Facebook campaign for a cat up a tree anyone? Just because there's a bunch of people agreeing and ganging up on the OP it doesn't make them right and justify being nasty!

They do it to get attention and it works. Sigh. Just like little children. I can't think why people don't ignore them and carry on with the conversation.

That's cos they're all robots.
