Just got my old cot down from the attic for DD2 who's about to grow out of her crib, and it reeks of animal wee. There's obviously something up there... the cot has been lying on the floor uncovered for a few years.
I've disinfected it and it still smells. And now I'm reluctant to let her sleep in it.
I'm pretty sleep deprived and exhausted myself at the moment so can't see the wood for the trees, but I don't know whether I am being unreasonable to think I should just get a cheap new cot.
What would you do?
