AIBU to be pissed of with DH for hiring a cleaner because he is too sodding lazy to do any housework??

Arguing for years he should do half the housework. He hasnt worked in years, retired on ill health and comfortable company pension, but healthy enough to go shooting on the moors every weekend.

I work 3 days a week and spend 4 hours a day, 4 days a week helping my dd with my disabled grandson. I still do 90% of the housework...believe me I've tried every angle!

So...another row about housework and today he says he will pay from his own money for a cleaner to come in 2 days a week and she's starting next week!

Dont know whether to be Grin or Angry as yet again he's outwitted me!

THough if he/the household budget can afford it, a cleaner should be hired to do as much of it as possible, not just 2/7ths of it.

Hope she will do just about everything, dusting does my head in!

Some people are never happy. Wink

Love it. Secretly enjoy it whilst feigning ambivalence to DH!

As long as he's hiring her to do your share as well, that's fine.

If you're still expected to do cleaning then that's crap.
