I am in a travelodge on a diet. I carefully measured my food for the day and have been really good. Now I'm bored, hungry and craving chocolate. Shall I go on a chocolate hunt?

I'm logging my food on food focus. It's the only thing I've ever got to work in the past. By end of Jan I want to have lost 9lb. Hopefully more. Ultimately 6st needs to go.

Not even an olympic breakfast to look forward to? Shock

hippoCritt · 03/01/2012 20:15

Have a bath, see if you are still hungry no logic but it's what I do it he evening to avoid chocolate

StealthPolarBear · 03/01/2012 20:17

Lol at traveldodgy. I have a new job which involves 2 days at work 100+ miles away, so I stay over the night in between.

Yes I also want to know why TravelDodge? DH is gutted when he gets them - he loves a Premier Inn!

Stealth - you can see my threads on non-sleeping child and broken boiler!

I have 3 st to lose, and am doing WW. I will join you and kick you up the bum if you go off track, if you promise to do the same to me.

AlwaysHopeful · 03/01/2012 20:23

Put Channel 4 on and watch other people burning their fat while you just sit and MN. You might not be burning their calories, but you might feel righteous about not eating chocolate Smile

AlwaysHopeful · 03/01/2012 20:26

OK, I take that back Shock it just got very wierd Confused

Sparklingbrook · 03/01/2012 20:26

Peter Andre on ITV2. Vomit.

ObviouslyOblivious · 03/01/2012 20:29

make sure you check for bedbugs before you hop into bed

5inthebed · 03/01/2012 20:30

SPB if you're in Newcastle I can bring you some Grin. Have tons of the stuff!

RoyalWelsh · 03/01/2012 20:32

I too volunteer as a candidate for chaos' chocolate. Because I am selfless.

StealthPolarBear · 03/01/2012 20:51

Channel 4 on.
Halo polished
Just spoken to h (notice the lack of d) who suggested sit ups as well. What is wrong with you people?

Is this casualty or something?
Thanks for the offer 5, but no. Erm...fancy a trip to York with that bag of chic?

OP posts:
5inthebed · 03/01/2012 21:27

Hmm, York is a tad too far to drive in this wind tonight. However, when you head back up this way, can you pleas bring me some marmite and cheese bread from that little bread shop in the Shambles.

Winkly · 03/01/2012 21:32

I had this dilemma with doughnuts in the office today and resisted. (Am now drinking wine - slippy halo. But I digress.)

In the morning you would regret choosing chocolate. In the morning you will be pleased with yourself for choosing not-chocolate.

Sparklingbrook · 03/01/2012 21:36

Not if she's tucking into the hash browns at the Little Chef Winkly. Sad

Winkly · 03/01/2012 21:42

Especially if she's tucking into the hash browns! No need to compound the damage.

StealthPolarBear · 03/01/2012 22:01

No hash browns I promise!
I had a sort.of compromsie, ate 53 cals worth of.fruit pastilles I found in my bag. Hasn't really satisfied the craving but better than nothing
