I am hoping next year is better I have had 5 brain surgeries this year but as my symptoms are back it means they have not worked so most likely have surgery again in the beginning of the year.

Ah Joyce poor you. I had flu and bronchitis this time last year.

Just to make you feel better, I came down from my sick bed to spend New Year's Eve with my DP and DS and watch TV, had a massive and violent coughing fit which caused me to spontaneously wee on our leather sofa. Despite rapid mop up and cleaning attempts the 'water' mark is still there

But so fecking what? I've cleaned up enough poo, vomit and wee to think I'm entitled to peeing on the sofa once in a while

I will definitely (sp) let you know I am as I'm always on MN when I'm in hospital as I don't get to see my family until I come home so MN keeps me sane .

I was also telling my surgeon about MN when he was doing a Lumber Puncture last time. I blamed the morphine I was given

I hope 2012 is a good year for everyone.

Lovely thread. I am having a tough time at the moment but I have also been struck by other threads where people have even bigger issues. Some of advice given is top notch.
