I'm always a bit late braving the sales and ventured into town today with the kids, literally sailed through all the shops and saw nothing I wanted. Then got to boots and remembered about their Soap and Glory stuff, all gone, quelle suprise, so I figure I'd do some googling and ebaying to find piles and piles of the stuff on ebay marked at the original price plus a minimum of £10 postage or buyer to collect. The big set ended up down to £25 if I recall. (Should have got one at the time!) No stresses, saved my money really.

But, i don't get why people stockpile things from the sale and stick it on ebay. Most of the ones I saw were nearing the end of the time and hadn't really made anything.

I see it loads with other things too. People buying up a whole shop then sticking it on ebay. Is there really that big a profit margin to doing that? Have I missed a trick here?

I noticed this at Halloween the last few years (I go a bit OTT about decorating my house and garden) - Asda is really good for Halloween decs and I often notice them on Ebay at inflated prices, I suppose if you weren't near an Asda you wouldnt know though. I bought 1 of their giant talking butlers for £70 a few years ago and it regularly appears on Ebay for £150 plus so thats a good profit margin!

This year I bought the floating wailing ghost for £15 and theere were lots on Ebay for around £25.
