To be utterly utterly sick of my legs and how boots don't fit!

I'm 5ft 9. I'm a size 16 bottom, so not hugely fat, not hugely tall. So why can i not find knee boots that fit?
I discovered duo boots website and ordered some, my calves are 42cm with jeans on, I ordered 44cm to be safe. They arrived today and they don't fit. They are too narrow in the foot (people with big legs generally have wide feet, no?) they don't fasten as the calf is too narrow and the bloody things are 6 inches short of my knee! Were they made for a dwarf?
Aaaarrrghh!

I have ok ankles but enormous calves so the boots stick under my knee but are loose around my ankle so eventually collapse in that place and just look ridiculous

I can't even get skinny jeans to fit my legs and if I did, I suspect it would look horrific lol! I'm actually a v respectable weight too but all my weight is in my legs and around my middle. Is v annoying.

I have wide calves but small feet (sz 4) and it's a right pain in the arse Hmm managed to get some knee highs from evans for £80 though which I think is a bloody piss take

I found some boots which fit my massive calves at this website. www.simplybe.co.uk/shop/home
They have boots in different foot and calve widths.

totally sympathise. I've lost 5 stone this year but almost none of it from my calves! I now find myself in a weird no mans land where my Evans boots (bought about 3 years ago and worn to death) are now a bit loose, but yet I can't get any decent replacements. If they fit at the calf there's loads of loose stuff round the ankle. If the ankle fits I can't do them up. Hopeless!

Fly London make beautiful boots that fit curvy calves and wider feet.

I own several pairs, calf and knee high and have never had a problem.

I'm 5ft 9in and a size 12/14. Boots especially knee length ones can be a nightmare.
I have a pair of black knee length ones from Gabor zip up (not too old fashioned for boots, shoes on the otherhand??) and a pair of dune brown pull up boots. I have also tried duo but couldnt find anything that came up to my knee (maybe should look again).
Evans are too big around my ankles and I have size 5 feet which for my height also makes it difficult.

I would seriously recommend Gabor, I'm 34 but got my first pair when I was 22 and they lasted about 5 years. so very good value for money at about £150 a pair Smile

I usually only buy boots in Evans as I have large calves and wide feet (what a combo!) But was pleasantly surprised to find some in Clarks sale which fit beautifully and were half price! Wish is bought two pairs as lve worn these into the ground already through constant wear! Hope you find some OP.
