Clean lines, no fuss, switched it on and it gave me a piece of paper as a present. Then I introduced it to my laptop and they shagged for a bit via USB, and now it has produced the prettiest excel printout I've ever seen.

Xmas Sad Poor Mousey!

I found the aforementioned teddy, wrapped in plastic, in a box in the cellar the other day. When I unwrapped him and looked at his familiar old face, tears welled up in my eyes...

i understand, i washed all dd's soft toys once and felt awful hanging them out on the line by their ears, it looked torturous.

i have a Canon Pixma. it has never done a good print. stripes, makrs, the lot. I bought on recommendation from here few yrs back. The ink costs £££ and its rubbish.

It was alright Talc, I realised Mouse is very good at holding his breath Xmas Wink

Imagines Pirates: 'OK, toys, spill the beans. What are they planning up in their room when they're supposed to be asleep?'

definitely YANBU.

the refill catridges are blimmin expensive though.
totally worth it. Grin

I got mine because it was cheaper than getting colour photocopies done for the church magazine.
the included cartridges should have done 700 sheets of 5% ink coverage.
I used them for full colour photographs, and they did about 250 sheets like that.
so not bad at all.
I've just reordered a full set for £121.
mine's a Samsung.

I'm glad you have found such deep love.

My current favourite rant topic is my sodding printer. All I wanted was the ability to print nice photos. I have a nice camera, a nice laptop and a nice daughter. I take nice photos, and edit them nicely and have a nice photo album ready to go... Onto my fourth photo printer in as many months and have I got any nice photos? NO! ... No I have not. Have I wasted ££ worth of ink trying to create some decent prints? Yup. This one's going on ebay and I'm going to Boots, no printer-love for me. Rant over, for now.

Envy Jealous of your happiness.

I spoke too soon. Harold is no longer talking to me at all, computer says he is off-line Xmas Sad. Sigh, will have to troubleshoot...

Rats, surely festive emoticons should have been here till tomorrow, MN?

Myrealname stbx has an HP colour printer which does nice photos. Agree printers in general can be a real pain (not you, Harold)

MyRealName
the best printers for photos are epson.
but don't print using windows picture viewer. i usually go through photoshop elements or other programme

Jinsel · 06/01/2012 12:09

YANBU. I am utterly in love with our new printer. There were no cross words or conversations about incompatibilty, the pc and printer found each other easily, and I now have hundreds of actual photos of the children... for the first time. And no ink. Whoops!

Jinsel · 06/01/2012 14:15

I am getting a huge one....

I'm not sure where it's going to go actually. The printer space in my desk is woefully small. But I need it so I'll have to find a space
