The thread about the weird stuff your parents used to do while you were growing up.

Chao's parents and their antics had me crying with laughter for ages.

There have been lots of funny threads this year, I just can't think of them offhand, just that they made me laugh so much.

I wish MN had a facility for being able to 'rate' a thread with 'laugh' emoticons... then I'd never forget.

Most recently the bum slap dance/acorn throwing family.

Although that wasn't very nice for the op, so I felt a bit bad finding it funny as well.

The one about "random conversations" people had overheard, tears were streaming from my eyes, absolute agony.

And the thread about weird things parents did growing up, lequeen's family I think won hand down.

Oh yes I loved the cutted up pear my favourite of the year.

The odd work colleagues and the weirdo customer threads were both hilarious, as was cutted up pear. Also loved the naked in front of the plumber story though suspect it was too good to be true.
