I have just heard from the dcs that they have been snacking on Xmas pudding in dh's study today. Apparently he took it there last night to snack on and, with the help of 3 dcs, it was all gone by lunchtime today!

That seems really piggy to me... but am I just cross because I didn't get any?! Xmas Grin

lostafrica - you do indeed have Pudding Envy. Get thee to the supermarket & buy another Grin

Hassled... that sounds good.

Mind you, plain toast sounds good right now. I've had food poisoning/tummy bug for 3 days and haven't eaten a thing :(

Anyone that touches my christmas pudding or brandy cream will be shot.

That is some feat xmas pudding is kinda sickly.

clippityclop · 28/12/2011 19:15

I ate a bowl of homemade tiramisu at 3.30pm today for no reason whatsoever other than it is Christmas. Christmas pudding tonight! (See Spend Free January thread...!)

nooka · 28/12/2011 19:23

I would be majorly pissed off. I love Christmas pudding and really don't like the idea of it being guzzled without me. But then I am a nibbler not a guzzler and I find it really upsetting when dh goes throguh special Christmas food as if it was ordinary stuff. He is more of the view that Christmas woudln't be Christmas without the guzzling so it's always a point of tension for us.

lostafrica · 28/12/2011 19:37

Ah, nooka, I think you and I are kindred spirits! As, unfortunately, are our dhs...

This is the outcome of giving raisins as a 'healthy snack'!!

HappyCamel · 28/12/2011 19:42

Well, at least they've had plenty of fruit today!

TheAvocadoOfWisdom · 28/12/2011 20:07

GypsyMoth · 28/12/2011 21:17

Wasn't there a supermarket which sold Christmas cake and cheese sandwiches?

thisisyesterday · 28/12/2011 21:24

MY christmas pudding was made by ME!

which is why I get to eat most of it.

ivykaty44 · 28/12/2011 21:27

unfortunately mine like christmas pudding Sad

sparklytinselandthings · 28/12/2011 22:09

My 4 year old and my 8 year old both LOVE Christmas pudding and would quite happily snack on it if I let them. Bloody weirdos Grin (What?! it's nasty stuff!)
Seriously though, it's Christmas. If they can't snack on chocolates, crisps or pudding whatever during the Christmas holidays, when can they?!
Mine are usually all healthy and wholesome but this week it's a wonder they haven't turned into a tub of Celebrations or a mince pie to be honest. Grin
