I've been checking work emails (technically my day off, back in tomorrow, but it's an understood, unwritten rule that work days off mean checking emails in case of any emergencies Sad). I've just spotted a summary from a shift floor supervisor that talks about "work schedules that have fallen behind over the festive period, all be it things are under control today".

AIBU to have a little snort and pour myself a glass of wine at 3pm over this email, which has been sent to a team of about 25 (maybe nearer 30) people, all senior management, from someone who is notoriously teacher-esque about correcting other people's spelling, punctuation and grammer? Seems like karma in action to me - excellent!

I don't normally do this, but, sorry, I think you'll find it's "grammar".

Grammer? Nooooooo.

Can I pretend I'd already had a glass when I posted my OP? It's not too late... is it?

"work days off mean checking emails in case of any emergencies "
well that's not a day off! I regularly do do this but I'd be furious if there was an expectation, completely unreasonable IMO
