to wish I hadn't gone to Lakeland?

I went for one thing. A big jug. But I couldn't find jugs, big or otherwise, so had to wander round, thinking "I want that...I want that...I don't know what that is but I WANT IT". I was like my kids watching CITV. If I win the lottery, the first place my helicopter takes me will be to Lakeland.

I covet everything Lakeland sells, but I'm sensible enough to realise that I would need an extra house to fit everything in.

If I ever win the lottery, I'm buying a house and turning the entire thing into a massive kitchen just so I can own everything from Lakeland. Grin

OMG, I actually love that shop. The day I realised we had one in my town was A Very Happy Day.

Dawndonnathatchristmasiscoming · 22/12/2011 19:00

I spend hours drooling looking over the Lakeland catalogue.

BubbleBobble · 22/12/2011 19:03

Oh... the Lakeland catalogue. It's household pornography at its finest.

Rhubarbgarden · 22/12/2011 19:06

Lakeland have made me lust after a teasmade. Swines.

NinkyNonker · 22/12/2011 19:08

I do love the Lakeland catalogue. I went to the shop the other day to buy a meat thermometer for my mum for Christmas (lucky lady) and the car park was full, I was gutted.

hwjm1945 · 22/12/2011 19:10

i love it so much, pre kids i would have sneered at it, now i just love all the stuff they sell

AFuckingFestiveKnackeredWoman · 22/12/2011 19:11

yes exactly - which is why I resisted - came back with a big jug and some chocolatey nibbles.
Though I do draw the line at licking the window I think.

I used to spend many a happy hour in the shop in Windermere.

Imagine my happiness when I found there is a shop when we'd moved to Glasgow.

SanTEEClaus · 22/12/2011 19:25

The only problem I have with Lakeland is that they convince me I need a pineapple slicer and I never buy whole pineapple.

But yes, the day they opened in Belfast was a happy day.

TruthSweet · 22/12/2011 20:16

I love Lakeland (can't afford it though so they don't send me the catalogueSad).

Mind you I got a Bamix with SliceSys (the little food processor bit) from there after getting married (when we had money) just so I could make baby food with it (and then only made baby food for DD1 DD2 & DD3 were BLW).

DH finds it just as dangerous and we used to come out of Bluewater £100s lighter and a car boot full of 'that will be useful' things Grin
