Mini twirls in the cadburys Heroes tin this year? The twirls are the best chocolate in there aren't they? But I only got about 5 in the WHOLE tin. I know its a bit early to be opening "The Tins" but it's a good job I did under the circumstances. Imagine if i had left it till christmas day? Doesn't bear thinking about.

mingles are in the 'shit shops' like Home Bargains and Aldi. if you live in a 'good' town you will never find them.

NorfolkNCarolSingers · 21/12/2011 12:16

Bring back Terry's Neopolitans. My Grandad always got them but even his local newsagent has stopped them now Xmas Sad

MissMogwi · 21/12/2011 12:16

We've have already demolished a tin of Quality Street, there didn't seem to be as many in it. And, and, the chocs seem smaller.

Only two green triangles in as well the bastards.

Sparklingbaubles · 21/12/2011 12:18

DH took some Celebrations into work, he came back saying they had replaced the truffles with twixes. He was evil about it.

PtCatalyst · 21/12/2011 12:30

I think the eclairs in the Heroes are a bit of a cheat too Sparklingbaubles. And they've taken out the bournville and picnic, so now I'm only left with the fudge (as all others are YUCK. All the more for other people though - I'm so generous)

Sparklingbaubles · 21/12/2011 12:31

i am sticking with my After Eights and Elizabeth Shaws. i hope they haven't been messed with. Grin

Sparklingbaubles · 21/12/2011 12:35

Lots of banging about in the kitchen. DS2 has cracked his chocolate orange open (with his plaster cast Hmm) and it's got popping candy in it. Shock

Sparklingbaubles · 21/12/2011 12:43

He is now holding his mouth open to my ear to hear the crackles. Sad

Bethshine82 · 21/12/2011 14:00

We had about six twirls in ours. I was devestated. devestated
Now we are left with a tin of fudge, eclairs and cadbury eggs twists, which are really sickly. All the nice ones have gone. I am very very sad about it.

akaemmafrostythesnowwoman · 21/12/2011 14:01

Buy another tin! There is no other choice.

MothershipG · 21/12/2011 14:31

Twix instead of truffles is a great improvement, I love those little Twix, but I entirely agree that that there were insufficient Twirls in the Heroes!

They really should have someone whose job it is to count them in so that it's fair! Xmas Wink

Mandy2003 · 21/12/2011 14:59

We've eaten 2 tins already Xmas Blush

Our Celebrations was far more heavily weighted towards Snickers. Gave some to DS and he said "Snickers, Mum?" as though I was trying to poison him. "You. Are. Not. Allergic. To. Nuts!!" End of!

GandTiceandaSprout · 21/12/2011 15:06

All the tins have gone crap.
Still, am out of Roses & QS so will buy more. Xmas Hmm

Sparklingbaubles · 21/12/2011 15:30

My two 12 and 9 think they aren't allowed to eat nuts for some reason. Nutty chocolates are rejected. Confused
