He rang earlier as he usually does and then said "I was waiting at the bus stop and there was a bloke with is kids, one was about 2 and one was the same age as DD4 (6 months) and he was feeding the baby a Fruit Shoot"

I laughed my head off, which he didnt understand at all, asked if that was ok to give babies and I said no, I was laughing because he had just ticked some boxes on MN bingo. I asked if they had a greggs sausage roll as well, and thoroughly confused he said no!

Then he ranted about what a shit father this man must have been.....:o

Yes HIBU. He saw a baby drinking out of a fruit shoot bottle. I often fill them with water so that my 18 month old thinks she's getting the same as her siblings and cousins when we are at the Grandparents. The man in question might have done the same. If it actually was a fruit shoot it doesn't mean the baby is constantly being fed crap, it could easily have been a one off and drinking a fruit shoot once isn't going to hurt anyone - even a 6 month old.
