Our boiler broke down yesterday. I've text the landlord yesterday and I know she left a message for the plumber, who's a friend of their family. Would it be pushy to text again??

I'm preg and due on Thursday although could go any time according to mw. Also dd (5) has broken up to so we're stuck in pretty much one room today with the fan heater!

Terrified baby is going to come, or we're going to have Christmas with no heating...

We'll have a plumber today, thank goodness!

Their plumber hasn't got back to them so they've booked British Gas for between 12 & 4, but haven't cancelled their plumber in case he gets here first.

Busy slobbing on sofa with dd in our pj's watching films [cgrin]

That's good news. I've found the british gas emergency call out service to be very efficient in the past so hopefully you will be enjoying heat and hot water by tonight!

Glad you phoned, quite apart from baby's imminent arrival another couple of days of delaying and then you'd be stuck freezing your arse off over Christmas.

Due on Thursday, how the hell did that happen? Xmas Grin

kat I really hope so! I'm now worrying its going to be some obscure part needed...

gwendoline I know! We've nearly done it! Sweep for me on Wednesday too due to knackered pelvis. Hope you're ok?
