There is a job, my dream job perhaps as a parlimentary assistant for a certain party i may or may not supporty

I currently do some low level unpaid Pa typed work for a low ranking political person (local not national).

Should i even bother to apply? or is it so far fetched i should dream.

You have to apply! You have absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain. Stop procrastinating and get an application form NOW.

That's a shame - but what you need is a wee plan so that next time round you will have the experience you need.

You know what you want - so go for it!

PS - You should definitely look into the CV pool and scope out the possibility of doing some work for your local MPs as a way in.

I think I know which post it is! I was looking at it the other day and thinking it would be fab. But since got another short-term job so no go. Bet the competition will be fierce.
