To the violent aggressive wife of the violent aggressive man who tried to assault me

in Wembley Arena last night
You should both be ashamed, your behaviour was appalling and if you think it is ok for the pair of you to physically attack teenagers for "dancing" at a rock concert - then you can expect to be challenged.

Far from it being none of my business - it is everyones business to challenge a 40 plus woman and 50 plus male when they are attempting to assault minors. The usually response to someone telling you calmly and without swearing that your behaviour was disgusting is not usually for a women to start screamig and swearing like a banshee and for a man to attempt punch a total stranger in the face followed by threats of physical violence and offers to tale me outside and batter me.

As I told you and him (not so calmly) - you are a child batterer, clearly he is a woman batterer and the pair of you are cowards.

I noticed neither of you said anything to the bloke who had his foot on the back of the chair, possibly because he wasn't young or female and you knew you get as good as you gave.

Those children didn't deserve to be thrown out - you two deserve to be charged and prosecuted for your assault on them and subsequent attempted assault on me.

If that is how you behave towards women and children you dont know, in a public arena - I dread to think how you treat your own children and each Other in the privacy of your own home.

I truly hope you see this and the pair of you hang your heads in shame, it doesn't matter how irritating you found their dancing - you are grown adults!

People can behave appallingly and it seems that bouncers just kick anyone out to end the situation and rarely take time to sort out the victim from the aggressor. My friend was at a beyonce concert with his boyfriend and were just behind a small group of teenage girls - all aged about 14. Apparently friend made a friendly comment to one of the group along the lines of 'isn't this great' and then he started dancing. The girls got both men thrown out for harrassing them. Honestly - there isn't a part to this story I'm not telling, my friend was genuinely bemused by their reaction and by being thrown out.

GoingForGoalWeight · 15/12/2011 14:52

I've never been to a rock concert. I imagine it was a shock and the guy that tried to punch you is a C!

I'm glad the moron missed your face ((hugs)).

MJinSparklyStockings · 15/12/2011 14:53

Exh reckons I should phone met as well - I think when I submit my co
Plaint to Wembley I will Also copy it to licensing section of met.

Absolutely. If it was seated and ticketed, they should be able to trace the offending seat occupants through payment to Wembley.
I would definitely report it, but I probably wouldn't be very hopeful of anything happening to them.

kdiddy · 15/12/2011 14:59

Hideous behaviour by that couple. I've been to dozens and dozens of gigs and thankfully that sort of thing is rare - I suppose you get tossers everywhere and I imagine they're just as delightful to know in their everyday lives Hmm

Actually the worst violence I ever saw was at a Take That concert; a man knocked another man out because he was dancing too exuberantly. FFS. He ended up being carried out on a stretcher and the idiot who did it just disappeared into the crowd.

Well done you for being brave enough to stand up for those kids; hopefully it won't put them off. Although I have to say seats + designated aisles at a Motley Crue concert?? That's one hell of a juxtaposition of jump around moshing music with overly formal seating. Standing room only surely is better?!

GoingForGoalWeight · 15/12/2011 15:00

CCTV might have recorded the event.

MJinSparklyStockings · 15/12/2011 15:01

I doubt it too poor kids - I couldn't believe their reaction to me - and initially I really was polite - I wasn't so polite after he tried to punch me mind you!!!

I've been going to rock concerts for 25 plus years - nothing like this has ever happened to me at 1 before.

Poor kids though - the message it sends them was horrible. I felt I had to say something - I didnt want the horrible couple to go home patting themselves on the backs about how they had behaved.

I did speak to the supervisor and one of the other bouncers who was here said she agreed the kids hadn't don't anything wrong.

I wont be allowing my teens to Wembley after that though. Dreadful.

Also dreadful about blokes at Beyonce. Really bad to be kicked out like that for nothing.

Well having chatted to DH he thinks they were powdered up on speed/coke.

People can get rather mad at gigs, unfortunately, OP. My wee sis was in the pit at a Metallica gig when she was 17, right up front. Kirk Hammett reached in to the crowd and grabbed her hand - then a bloke (in his forties, so old enough to know better) elbowed her in the face, then kicked her out of the way, in order to hold Kirk Hammett's hand. Bizarre.

Vigo - your umlauts are fantastic Grin.

squeakytoy · 16/12/2011 00:17

MJ, where abouts where you? I was down at the front by the left, and there was a fair bit of aggro going on.

MJinSparklyStockings · 16/12/2011 00:21

We were at the back in the second row of the seats - it's a shame I haven't been to a proper rock gig for years and it really marred it for me - not actually their behaviour to me, but kids are supposed to be able to dance and bounce and be excited aren't they?

Concert was great though - I was 17 again for an evening!!!!!

MJinSparklyStockings · 16/12/2011 00:23

shadow hope your sister was ok - what a knob.

squeaky I heard some bloke got pulled out by 4/5 bouncers from the front.

OP posts:
squeakytoy · 16/12/2011 00:26

There were loads got pulled out where I was. There were a few punch ups too. I was literally at the front, at the front of the runway. (Nikki Sixx picked his nose and flicked it at me..... Grin )...

Lots of crowd surfing but luckily being 5ft nothing, it (quite literally) goes over my head!

Good gig though... I thought Steel Panther were hilarious, and the Crue set was amazing despite Vince Neils very dodgy vocals, and Mick Mars looking like he needed to be put back into his coffin...

I am used to being in the mosh pit at gigs, the worst/roughest I have known was Green Day last year.. even I backed away from that one.

MJinSparklyStockings · 16/12/2011 00:38

I have a morbid fear of mosh pits, having been pulled out of the crowd at Donnington in my teens - you are brave - I can still remember being so crushed by the crowd my feet weren't on the floor and every time there was a surge being carried along with the crowd - I did enjoy the gig - def Leppard pour some sugar on me, and hysteria.

And the memories of my teens came flooding back!!

Are you gong to download?

ShadowsCollideWithPeople · 16/12/2011 00:42

Oh, Mjin, my sister is tiny, but tough - I'm pretty sure she belted that bloke in the balls, then got on with moshing her arse off. Still infuriates me though, she was a tiny young girl. Little did that fecker know he was tackling a wee ruffian Grin. Min, what gig were you at?

Squeaky, the roughest gig I've been to was NoFX in the Red Box (am now feeling old) in Dublin. Was excellent, but so, so many people emerged from the pit with bloody noses and ripped clothes. Fun times Wink.

MJinSparklyStockings · 16/12/2011 00:45

The resilience of youth - ds (16) doesn't think it's been a good gig unless he is battered and bruised from moshing when he comes home.

I tell him - my little mini me - he is so like me it's untrue.

Good on your sister - I hope she did!

squeakytoy · 16/12/2011 00:47

I dont mind being in the pit so long as I am at the front of it. If I know I can get over the barrier in an emergency, I am ok.

Every year I say I am going to Download, but havent managed to get there since 1990.

The funniest bit of last night was two girls trying to blag their way to the front. They got behind me and the people next to me, and tried to elbow through. NO chance! (this was after Steel Panther, so no way were people who hadnt been there from the start going to get a front view!) So we got the simpering "but we have to see Nikki... we will DIE if we dont see Nikki"... Grin... I think the girl next to me told her to fuck off and die then...

She then reached over and tapped some huge bloke who was leaning on the barrier and asked if she could sit on his shoulders... (you have to picture her.. face full of make up, top as low as possible, and a pout you could rest a pint on... ) he looked at her briefly and said "farrrrrk off"... if she had room, she would have stamped her feet...

They stayed stood behind us, and if you remember the bit where the two very scantily clad girls were on stage passing the guitar... I looked around and if looks could kill... Grin

Steel Panther are on at Brixton in March and I got ticket today for that... I hadnt heard of them before last night, and they were brilliant. Community Property was sooooo funny.

MJinSparklyStockings · 16/12/2011 00:47

It was steel panther (missed them) motley Crüe and def Leppard.

It was a fantastic gig - Crüe had the drums on a mechanical circle and drumming upside down! Great night - nutters aside. But I really fancied a drink and stuff afterwards and there was no where to go.

OP posts:
MJinSparklyStockings · 16/12/2011 00:51

The last time I went to download it was still called monsters of rock Grin but dh and I are going this year - because I could not miss Metallica playing the Black album live - it was worth breaking the no debt rule for!!!

And then Ozzy with Sabbath meant we just had to go for the weekend.

Now I just have to tell my mum she is baby sitting Xmas Grin. no kids under 5!

OP posts:
squeakytoy · 16/12/2011 00:51

I didnt stay for the Def Leppard part.. I had heard so many bad reviews on them, and even though I have their albums, they are not a band I was too bothered about seeing. I was home with a Bushmills by 10.30 Grin

I also had Nikki Sixx retweet one of my tweets ,which I am sad to say, was one of the highlights of my night...

squeakytoy · 16/12/2011 00:54

Oh you missed a brilliant bit if you missed Steel Panther.. they rocked!! Absolutely hilarious, totally politically incorrect, and very very funny. You have to watch Community Property on YouTube, and bear in mind that they actual lyrics they sing are Cock, not Dong... Grin

squeakytoy · 16/12/2011 00:55

Ooooooh if Metallica and Sabbath are playing, I might just have to persuade the husband that we are going!

Have you listened to any of the SixxAm stuff, (Nikki Sixx new band) that is really good.

MJinSparklyStockings · 16/12/2011 00:56
