Someone on the dreaded Facebook has piste a pic of their DS (about 2yrs old) lying on her bed with the caption 'bet no-one else has had such a sexy guy lying on their bed!'

Isn't it a bit inappropriate to be calling your son sexy, nt just a sexy as in cute way, but in reference to lying on a bed, which could be described as a sexual position?

Or am I being a prude?

squeaky- bitch is also a reasonably common word to refer to a woman in some circles. It doesn't make it acceptable or tasteful just because it is actually used by some.

Sexy is used to mean 'appealing', in a work context 'we need a more sexy example' means more attractive as in 'attention grabbing' not wearing tighter clothes. I find it both hilarious and gross though, especially when the examples involve animals, it's one for those vulnerable to cliches.

I'm sure your friend means 'attractive', 'adorable' but I'd probably go for a blunt or deliberately confused response.
