Actually, I know they're notoriously shite, so I think IABU but really. I bought two maternity vest tops from there a little while ago, and to be honest, they were more than I would usually pay for a vest (I'm more of a Primark/NL fan for stuff like that) but I thought they looked good quality and I'd be able to eBay them or keep them for my next pregnancy. Anyway, they are literally falling apart! All the stitching from the seams and neckline has completely unravelled - now bear in mind I have cheapo tops as I mentioned above that I bought about the same time, that have been completely hammered (non-maternity tops that had my 41-week pregnant belly shoved into them, for a start!) that are nevertheless NOT falling apart by a long chalk.
So I emailed them to say, look, these tops really are poor quality, and got an email back saying a cheery "thanks for letting us know!". I didn't think they'd be falling over themselves to replace them or anything, but isn't it usual to send, I dunno, a code for free delivery or 10% off when you spend over a million pounds, something that at least looks like they give a tiny shit? I didn't expect anything for nothing, just a tiny, tiny token gesture might have been nice. I mean, Kiddicare sent out a 5% off code just for sending me the euro version of their email instead of the £ one!
Yes, yes, IABU I know, but god it annoys me how some huge retailers just couldn't care less about their customers.
