How can they sack her if the charges against her were dropped?

I'm hoping it was just for using the medication for the throat infection.

Am I just being an arse an a cynic?

It is how the offence is recorded by the Nursing and Midwifery Council that will dictate on how it will affect her career.

There seems that there wasn't enough evidence and that she wasn't the only one involved with shoddy if not malpractice. It is easy for a 'culture' of bad practice to creep into a department, if everyone turns a blind eye.

It's a position of trust, she's a thief, end of.

If it wasn't drugs it might have been patients property, or trust property.

The hospital trust & police would have had to make sure they had a case to answer after the last cock-up, I would have thought.
