It really winds me up! I'm not on here too often, but I tend to come on in the morning while DS is having his breakfast, and there's always the usual threads which only need a little common sense.

So far in the past few days, I've seen:
My baby hasn't moved since yesterday, shall I get it checked out?
My DH has hit me, do I call the police?
Please come and hold my hand, I'm having a panic attack

What's happened to common sense to call the midwife/police/doctor? If I was in a situation I wouldn't be on MN asking what I should do. MN gives out so much useful and great advice, but I wonder why people post in such circumstances?
