Why do people do this? Make a post about someone - a friend, or DC friend or whatever and then say "We'll call her X" "Or Z" "Or Julie" "Or some other bloody made up name".

Worra - I just knew that if anyone was going to get me it would be you! I completely agree with you! They change the name and then give the whole game away with a totally improbable scenario or incredible personal details, as you say!

My friend's DH, we'll call him Aloysius, has 3 buttocks and I know he reads MN and would be mortified if he knew I was discussing him............
