JB is "everyman" - he is just a persona with nothing behind it (that he lets anyone ever see). It's a very clever tactic, he appears to be what he thinks the people he is interacting with want to see/hear. (Its also a bit of a sociopathic tendency but because he's in showbusiness nobody seems to think anything of it) Would the real John Barrowman please stand up? not a sodding chance...

He has said before that his accent is all over the place depending on who he talks to, & he naturally slips back into his birth accent/lingo when talking to other Scots.

He doesn't hide it & it annoys him but at least he doesn't pretend he doesn't do it!

I like him even if he is a drama queen. His partner Scott must be a saint & bet the hissy fits can be amazing to witness!!!

I think I read somewhere that he speaks with a Scottish accent when with his Scottish family and American/Canadian (I thought he had lived in Canada ) the rest of the time. Perhaps Lorraine is secretly family, or maybe its just because shes Scottish. I think hes lovely tbh and people like him usually annoy me.

I've found him creepy since he did Live and Kicking. I don't find him in the slightest way attractive and he spends so much time with his head up his arse that his breath must be rank

I knew ambloke once who moved to England when he was 2 but as soon as someone Scottish starting talking to him he would change to a Scottish accent. It was quite funny to hear. I would lick John barrowman too

He may not have adopted a Welsh accent in Cardiff but Cap'n Jack certainly had a bit of Welsh in him.
