They are open with information and the options available. Decisions are made with full parental input and in a transparent, evidence based atmosphere. I find it surprising why parents challenge and question these processionals.

As has been said, if that is your experience then you are defnitiely NBU. However, my experience has been positive and the comments made in your OP are actually true for me and DD. She is totally thriving at the place that was always our first choice.
