going soon around xmas, I'm looking at the activities been before more spring time though. Its a very nice place , but the smallest thing is very costly.

I'm wondering with everything being soooo blummin expensive, how did you make sure you got a good time out of it , with a toddler aswell

aibu to think how are we gonna fill a week???

we usually go in January - this year it is £199 for 6 of us for mon-fri (children are 11, 5, 2 & baby). I refuse to pay for extra activities (cheapskate Wink ) - we do the parks, walks/bike rides & lots & lots of swimming.

Long time since I've been in winter. DDs were 23 months and 3 months at the time. They're 19 and 18 now.
We went over New Year with a group of friends. Was difficult as we had to walk everywhere, DD2 too small to go in bike trailer. A 2 yr old should be no problem and will love the travelling.
Pool is fantastic - especially after dark.
Playgrounds are good and so is just pottering around in the woods looking at all the little things that fascinate toddlers.
