no-one mentioned it.
They have a small note up, I missed it, been a bit distracted this week.
It's my fault isn't it, not the nurseries?

Your fault. You'll never be forgiven. I'd 'fess up to Social Services before they find out from other sources.

Your child will be psychologically scarred for life and will never ever forget their public humiliation as long as they live. Nothing you can ever do will ever make up for your hideous failings.

Shock That's terrible! The years your child is at nursery are when their minds are growing the fastest. I'd go down there right now with a costume.

I did this last year. My daughter, then aged 2, acts like she can't remember. But I know that deep down the wounds will never heal.

I'm currently secretly impressed that I've managed to negotiate this weeks nursery hurdle of Children in need activities .... I entered all the categories into my work calendar so that it pinged at me to remember odd clothes day on Monday, dress for teddy bears picnic & bring teddy on tuesday, dress in yellow day on wednesday, pj day on Thursday .... Unfortunately I have no idea what today is but sodding don't care as for the first time ever i've managed all the rest
I hope nobody looks at my calendar tho as "dress as teddy" is currently residing next to "important framework deadline" Blush

I doubt very much you're alone, ours sprung this on us last night and not many people appeared to have bothered, understandably. I just hooked a mask out of the toybox for dd and hoped for the best!

Well I don't think he even noticed, hasn't said anything anyway. A few of the children were dressed up.
In my defence they had 4 dress up days for Halloween, and I am prepared for Christmas dress up!
They usually give you a note, not rely on notes stuck outside the door which I can't really read as DS speeds past at 50mph!
