Just thought I'd be unoriginal and jump on the band wagon :)

I am of course a pisces, any fellow MNetters one too Grin

Gemini here and I'm in two minds about this thread

Slightlyreluctantexpat · 15/11/2011 08:54

As you should be. You are welcome here because you are not being as bloody aggressive as the bovine scorpion alliance.

Sorry, OP, not my thread. But we welcome peeps who come in peace I reckon?

HairyBeaver · 15/11/2011 08:54

Grin slightly, thought I was going to get my first flaming Blush

No no no, Hairybeaver! (I realise I am actually a bit true to type.) I would hate you to think that I was flaming you.

HairyBeaver · 15/11/2011 09:02

Tis ok, was getting kind of excited Grin

Slightly - I think you'll find it was my hoof I shot myself in, except I didn't, because as a bull I couldn't give a rat's ass.

Bovine Scorpion alliance - like it - & bring on the Rams & the Lions too.

PopcornMouse · 15/11/2011 10:44

I'm pisces, and it really could me you're describing in that post, hairy - I guess I must be the Piscean poster-child :o

molly3478 · 15/11/2011 10:53

Im a pisces but that is not me at all I am always the more dominant partner in my relationships. I cant say I cook for my man and I am not artistic. If a man touched my feet I would boot him in the balls I hate with a passion anyone touching my feet or attempting to. I definitely dont get the taking on people with problems thing and never understan people who do that in relationships to much hard work. I agree with all the sex bit though.

TheCountessRoyalofBlood · 15/11/2011 10:57

me too popcorn mouse - although have to add that am the dominant one in our relationship Grin

PopcornMouse · 15/11/2011 11:06

Good for you! I would just like to think I am, countess Blush

HairyBeaver · 15/11/2011 11:09

So for those people who the typical piscean features don't fit. Are you on the cusp of another sign?

My birthday is 19th march so quite close to the Aries boarder

Mikocat · 15/11/2011 11:14

I am absolutely typical (apart from complete lack of musical/artistic ability). I can be a right self-pitying whinge-bag when I want.

I am also a complete pushover/sucker for a sob story.

TheEpilator · 15/11/2011 11:30

I'm a Pisces and that description fits me exactly (with the possible exception of being seductive and ultra feminine!). I'm arty, musical, overly sensitive and day-dreamy, lack confidence in my abilities and can't focus on work unless its something creative, when I get lost in it. But anyone who touches my feet will get kicked in the face (not on purpose of course!).

timidviper · 15/11/2011 11:35

I am pisces and am fairly typical except I'm not particularly arty. Am definitely the sympathetic, adopt lame ducks type and am very easily hurt or feel rejected.

I normally scoff at horoscopes but Russell Grant has done some that, for me, were spookily accurate. On one occasion I had a meeting arranged with an incredibly obnoxious dickhead line manager the next day and my horoscope said "If your manager doesn't appreciate you, tell them what to do with their job. You are better than they give you credit for" or something on those lines. At the meeting he was offhand and supercilious so remained calm and icily polite then at the end of it I rang HR resigned and officially reported his rudeness. Now have a better job with nicer people. It's silly but that horoscope boosted my confidence.

Does it mention gullibilty on that list?

entropygirl · 15/11/2011 11:40

I might be picses....dont know really.....I suppose if Im not I could get my birthday moved....do you get cheaper car insurance or anything?

inneedofchocolate · 15/11/2011 12:01

I am a typical Pisces in every way and I am often very drawn to other Pisceans (?) with similar traits (although I don't know their star sign initially).

I studied Art at uni, I'm very Spiritual and I'm currently retraining as a Counsellor.

AngelDelightIsIndeedDelightful · 15/11/2011 12:30

Another one here! This part particularly resonated with me:-

they are attracted to people with severe problems who desperately need help

My dh is an alcoholic. My only major celeb crush as a teenager was Paul Gascoigne.

I'm not a wishy washy piscean though. I come from a long line of strong independent stubborn women. My genetics fight with the stars and win Wink

Goldrill · 15/11/2011 12:40

Well, I thought I was a pisces but apparently not! Am a scientist (although a fisheries one...) and run own business which involves occasional throwing around of weight which I very much enjoy! DP and I are desperately hoping DD has inherited our shared love of excel and will not know what to do with her if she turns out to be... musical or... artistic... [shudders]. Am also a devout and somewhat militant atheist with an absolute loathing of hippy spirituality.

Am a bit over-sensitive from time to time though. Classic pisces, me Grin

Silverstar2 · 15/11/2011 12:46

I am not a typical Pisces but I am in the middle - 9th March.

So who knows?! :)

LordAlconleighsEntrenchingTool · 15/11/2011 12:50

I am a a pisces and I am fuck all like that description.

Arty, romantic, musical, spiritual? Nope, am black and white atheist who is as spiritual as a breeze block, am tone deaf, pragmatic.

QueenoftheVerse · 15/11/2011 13:11

Oh oh! Me too Silverstar2, my birthday is the 9th March.

I'm not a typical pisces at all, I've got a degree in science, I've just started my own business and I love being in charge.

I suppose I'm slightly musical, I used to play an instrument - but not very well Grin

I'm not spiritual at all, in fact I'm an athiest and hate wishy washy shit. I'm not even particularly romantic.

I am very much a dreamer though. I can sometimes find an hour goes by easily, on a sunday morning in bed and I've been daydreaming the morning away (on the mornings DP gets DS anyway).

MCT76 · 15/11/2011 13:52

I fit the fishy profile to a T and as much as I value that we are lovely people (in general...since learning that I share a birthday with Robert Mugabe I am not so sure anymore!), I usually feel shortchanged by my inherent laziness, lack of self-confidence and ridiculous ability to go away with the fairies and not get anything done!

I have always been very good at the abstract and rubbish at anything practical and useful...unfortunately, I never got off my arse properly to do anything about it! Oh well, at least I can blame my star sign for it :)

nooka · 16/11/2011 05:27

I think I'm probably about as far from that description as it is possible to be!
