troisgarcons · 01/11/2011 23:03

Nope - not seeing why

bumpybecky · 01/11/2011 23:04

it is a bit ewwwww I think. I wouldn't buy it anyway

link is perfectly safe, nothing rude or anything!

Tortoise · 01/11/2011 23:04

It's a strange idea but can't see what's disgusting about it as long as hands are clean.

TalcAndTurnips · 01/11/2011 23:05

Can you imagine the creations your children would present to you, for your delectation, after they'd been modelling it for a while?

Full of hairs, carpet fluff, bogeys, lego bricks etc. etc.

reelingintheyears · 01/11/2011 23:05

Aww...i thought it was going to be rude.

auntiepicklebottom2 · 01/11/2011 23:05

hows it diffrent to rolling out icing, as long as hands are clean....it sound fun

MsHighwater · 01/11/2011 23:05

Are you worried about what shape most kids will make out of mouldable chocolate?

squeakytoy · 01/11/2011 23:05

Disgusting? Why?

Kladdkaka · 01/11/2011 23:05

I want some!

Miette · 01/11/2011 23:05

It would not be disgusting if an adult were to use it, but even a kid with clean hands would manage to get snot and god knows what else mixed in with it.

BlondeBatgirl · 01/11/2011 23:06

Sorry- should have put its safe!!

OP posts:
reelingintheyears · 01/11/2011 23:06

Very misleading title IMHO.

(disappointed)

IneedAbetterNickname · 01/11/2011 23:09

Me and DC often make baked things that require mixing with our hands, and are yet to get snot or whatever mixed in it, if our fingers go in our mouths/noses/underwear etc, we wash them again! Looks like fun to me, Santa might just have to buy some this year!

BlondeBatgirl · 01/11/2011 23:10

I just imagine chocolate/snot/carpet and god knows what else!!
Alright til ds says "mummy, i made it for you :) why wont you eat it?? :( "

OP posts:
my2centsis · 02/11/2011 00:22

YABU..... i think that would be a great family activity to do togeather... i bake with dd all the time she is 3, knows she has to wash her hands first and do it all up on the bench, not sure how snot, hair and carpet would get in it

JLK2 · 02/11/2011 01:14

Baked things go in the oven which kills all the germs.

HecateGoddessOfTheNight · 02/11/2011 08:00

can't you do the fake eating thing?

You put the item in your hand, cup it, put it to your mouth, begin to chew and make mmmmm noises, while the item is still in your cupped hand, turned away and lowered to your side. You distract them with your it's so yummy face and you either slip the thing down the back of the sofa, or into a pocket or even just keep it in your hand and after a few minutes of mmmm-ing

you need the loo.

lesley33 · 02/11/2011 08:07

I used to collect a friends DD from nursery every day. Every day at this nursery they would make some kind of "cake" that involved rolling or mixing together some type of food. Sometimes she would eat it, but if not I always encouraged her to give it to her mum rather than me!

CandiceMariePratt · 02/11/2011 08:09

We had some of this at the weekend, it was great fun and tasty too.

NinkyNonker · 02/11/2011 08:30

I agree, but more because it makes me wonder what the hell they have done to the chocolate to make it do that. Bleugh.

blackoutthesun · 02/11/2011 08:49

my sisters and i had something like this, mum use to get it from cake making shops

can't see the problem tbh

HomemadeCakes · 02/11/2011 08:53

Saved it into my Favourites so that I can order some for Xmas for my Step-MIL who is a chocaholic - she will love it!!

Not sure I would give it to DD though... She's only 2 and would simply just eat it all!! Smile
