I probably am, as an offer is an offer, but I just had a mail from 'jonnie' saving save £60 on mini boden
click
....when you spend £300!!
so 20% off then - except they sent me a 20% off code with no minimum spend last week so why would I suddenly spend £300 to save 20%
and whilst I'm being a whingy pants I know mini boden isnt cheap but to spend £300 surely youd have to buy most the entire range ( Blush glances at ds wardrobe and tots up spend this season.....)
end of....

JB is a cunt

tobyrat · 01/11/2011 19:11

I sometimes think that there would be better Boden discounts available on MN if MNers were not so rude about JB! Perhaps if he read nice stuff about him and his clothes, he would want to give us a good discount.

People say that his clothes are awful and above, that he's a cunt! Poor bugger - he can't win - it isn't compulsory to buy his clothes.

squeakytoy · 01/11/2011 19:12

The clothes are vile... absolutely vile. And over-priced!

thanks for the illustration squeaky Grin

The women's clothes are generally vile, but the mini and baby aren't. I know full well it's a marketing ploy to pull and keep one in, but I am always pleased with 20% discounts and Catch of the Day.

I'm quite fond of Boden BUT I agree, the offers are really puny and sometimes not offers at all... I had a prize-winning ticket for 'free returns'... great! We get those anyway. Confused

If you're reading this, Mr B, pull your flaming finger out. Oh and if something not selling, even in the sale - please don't bring it back again next season expecting a different result. The stuff that sells out in the flash however, fire up your sewing machines again - in GREAT BRITAIN.

I'm more concerned that the clothes are being made in China... I don't want to support that industry. UK = great, Europe = fine, China = no, no, no.

gramercy · 01/11/2011 19:19

You wouldn't have to buy anywhere near the whole range to spend £300 - about ten items would do the trick!

I guess some people have deep wallets. Reading the reviews about the items you get things like "Absolutely loved the spotty fun skirt! Bought in all three colours!"

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 01/11/2011 19:23

3 dresses is £300 quite easily...

I don't mind for UK manufactured stuff but not China...
