to expect DP to clean while I am away

I went away with DD for a week - came back and DP not done any cleaning. AIBU to pull him up on this?

I went away in high summer and told DH to throw out cut flowers in vases when they went off.

Came back to really stagnant smell.....he'd thrown out the flowers...but left out all the vases full of dirty water
