Because you have small feet, you could eBay your shoes to dwarves, would you be offended?

Or that because you have size 9 feet, you could eBay your shoes to transvestites, would you be offended?

I have really small (and oddly-shaped) feet due to a disability and I find it really embarrassing when people comment and draw attention to them, as some people seemed compelled to do. Someone who has been my friend for 16 years still finds mileage in this one despite me asking her not to do this more than once. I am 5'8 and have size 2 feet on a good day so it probably does look a bit odd. But then again you wouldn't expect people to make "funny" comments about similar disabilities eg arthritic hands, spinal curvature etc (or maybe some people would?) so why is it okay to poke fun and make comments about feet? I'm not offended, just really embarrassed as I hate people looking at my horrible feet!

OWW that "friend" of yours doesn't sound like much of a friend at all

"Wow, just as funny the 10th time round as it was the first....." - with a very pretend smile - then move onto the next topic.

If you want a witty response, unfortunately it needs to be a bit personal. She says you could sell you shoes to dwarves, you say something like, well, we could go into business together and make a fortune, selling my shoes to dwarves and your bras as garden hammocks. Only works if she has large norks though...
