I'm shit at presents. I'm thinking this will:

a. save the planet

b. be just as useful as a goat

c. provide much hilarity over lunch

d. educate them

e. they'll thank me eventually

it will be mooncups or socks.

Get the the mooncup. But get them the smaller size to be flattering. Some might think it is vile but most will be curious and probably appreciate it once they try it.
Don't understand why some people think it is vile when they use sanitary towels (ugh).

laluna · 31/10/2011 22:35

I wouldnt mind one but dont really have the need - mirena working beautifully! What about a shewee?

PyrotechnicsAtYourCervix · 31/10/2011 22:35

but wouldn't you be intrigued? wouldn't you not have a go? and then be converted?

I would get my DD one.

However, hang around in the house when she tries to get it out. I thought I was going to hoover out my innards first time i tried to remove mine, it was terrifying.

exoticfruits · 31/10/2011 22:37

Yes it would. Some flowers, chocolates or wine would be nicer!

If you were my SIL it would go down as one of your worst presents, so well done.

PyrotechnicsAtYourCervix · 31/10/2011 22:37

DD is also 15 (and a hlaf - hence the 'finally'!) I suspect I could convert her..... DD2 however flatly refuses to even try.

No way. A gift should be something you genuinely believe the recipient wants, not an opportunity to push your views at others.

SacreLao · 31/10/2011 22:38

Maryz Exactly my point!

Some of us have naturally bucket fanjo's larger than average vagina's.

How would you know who needed what size?

Although saying that arn't you a midwife? You could give everyone an internal pre-present buying and take measurements :o

LaFilleSurLePont · 31/10/2011 22:38

No.I'd think you had issues and put it in the bin.

Ilanthe · 31/10/2011 22:38

I threatened to get my sister a mooncup for Christmas. She was most unimpressed. She wants some slipper boots from Wyndsor's World of Shoes instead. and a load of Chanel

GreenMonkies · 31/10/2011 22:38

What about a Lady Cup? They come in all kinds of pretty colours!!

Do it, I dare you!

Well, ok, maybe not, how about some socks and a voucher towards one?

wonderstuff · 31/10/2011 22:38

I personally would much rather have socks - I love a pair of nice socks me. But I would love to be a fly on the wall at your Christmas dinner after handing out mooncups! They aren't that cheap actually - you could get some really nice wine and chocs instead.

PyrotechnicsAtYourCervix · 31/10/2011 22:39

But I truly believe that one tred they will all be most thankful and think I am fabulous. They just need a little encouragement.

OP posts:
SacreLao · 31/10/2011 22:40

But you can't make them try it!

It would end up being an unusual egg cup in my house, or a mini wine glass!

LaFilleSurLePont · 31/10/2011 22:40

No.They'll think you're a tad unhinged,and judging by this post,they'd be right.

SacreLao · 31/10/2011 22:40

Although I would also love to see their faces when you hand them out.

Especially when they all compare to see who got what size.

wonderstuff · 31/10/2011 22:41

Maybe - I do love mine - I think maybe a bit 'in your face' for Christmas?

Fixture · 31/10/2011 22:41

What sort of females are they? Human, or other?

LaFilleSurLePont · 31/10/2011 22:41

Why the hell would you need/want them in a range of colours? Confused

PyrotechnicsAtYourCervix · 31/10/2011 22:42

do you think i could get a discount if I buy more than 10?
