ILT, in normal dance comps though, do they make the competitors do stoopid 'bits to camera' with their dance partners' boyfriends turning up as ghosts and stuff? I sincerely hope not .

Perhaps there are rules about what you're allowed to be unreasonable about in AIBU? Which in itself might be rather unreasonable

It isnt different, they are all annoying. If it isnt an aibu, put it somewhere else, not hard. You can tell its not an aibu since none of tne answers say yanbu or yabu.

I love love love it all too! There must be more than just two of us out there who love it all? I like the behind the scenes stuff because it gives you a chance to get to know the competitors better.
In fact I record the x-factor to fast forward through all the chat on that show, that (IMO) is drivel!

I thought the point of AIBU was that you could post anything you liked, but posters should be prepared for a fairly robust response, which is why some posts are better suited to Relationships, say, where fewer people will let loose with a 'you are talking bollocks' type response.

However, in order to comply with the (apparent) AIBU guidelines, OP, you are not being unreasonable. Within the current format of the show, there needs to be something to fill the gaps to give time to reset the stage and cameras, but the filler content is just boring.

I think the trouble is that these days any cash cow programme is milked dry, tuning an - at most hour long programme - into 6 or 7 hours across the week, trouble is it does annoy people and makes them switch off

But plenty of eliminating 'rounds' and social dance in between. Then you get each couple who made it through called on the floor individually, they come on with a twirl take their place and wait for next couple etc. All very time consuming. But PROPER dance, non of the showmanship!

I think the filler content is good as it gives you time to go to loo,get a cup of tea chase the kids around. wander off really.

I think early saturday night should be like this as loads of people watch for different reasons mostly i think it is just background for life

with 1min 30 of must watch every now and then. and if you miss it they will show most of it latter on it takes 2 or in the recap and the you can watch the dance on line on you tube if you really want to see all of it.

We sky plus and fast forward through the little sketches inbetween.

We do similar with x factor, I can start about 30 - 40 mins behind but catch up by the time I have fast forwarded the adverts and the bits where they discuss their childhood poverty, bullying and dying relatives .
