Me, dh, dd4 (who always sneaks in early doors) fast asleep in bed after half term away, lots of driving etc all worn out. Ds wakes up and comes in with his ticking alarm clock which he literally shoves in my face until the ticking wakes us all up. This is because is 8.15 and we had previously told him that no one gets up before 8 at the weekend! Would you think that rude and annoying? Have really been trying to get him to see things from others pov recently...this does not come naturally to him! Surely he old enough to read a book for a bit?

have never started a thread on here before and actually just saying out loud that i felt a bit tired and arsey and annoyed was enough of a vent to get it together and have a nice friendly morning with the kids! so thanks! now just have to work out how to put a smiley/face thingy on the end...

YABU. A lie in till 8.15 is good.
My darling son, used to wake me up by prising my eyelids apart and asking if I was awake, which let me tell you, is a horrid way to start your day!

As the years pass, I am getting closer to my revenge and looking forward to returning the favour, after he has returned home from a drunken night out. Only another 7 years to wait. Wink

Loving the idea of watching the neighbours curtains.
