To Want to Hear From DH?

I apologise in advance if I am being unreasonable, however I need to get this off my chest:

My DH HATES his job. He has to hit targets in order to hit his commission and it is really full on. Anyway, her recently won an incentive that was on at work, thus he has gone with his team to Barcelona for the night (left at 7am today) and is back tomorrow evening.

I told him to have a great time and make the most of it. But the ONE thing I asked him to do was to let me know that he got there safely. You see, I am a worrier and he knows that. We have been married 3 years and my mum is terminally ill so he knows I am a bit on edge at the moment.

He was due to arrive at 2pm our time but I have not heard from him and I am beginning to worry.

Am I being unreasonable? Surely it's not hard to send a text to say 'Arrived safe!'...

Have you even considered the fact he has no signal and cannot text you?

Is his phone triband?

Oops, forgot to let you know he is back! He called me as soon as the plane touched down and apologised. His phone has no signal and the hotel had no wifi so he couldn't email me Smile He is a remarkable man and I lucky to have him! He treats me with such respect and love and honesty. And yes, he brought me back some lovely, thoughtful gifts! Thanks all for support etc Grin

Glad he is back safe.
Remind him to memorise your phone number and use a callbox next time or charge the call to his room!
