Happy Diwali everyone.

I was very happy to discover my local tesco were doing free Mehndi today so my dd and I are now sporting marvellous patterns on our hands.

But please no more fireworks, my big manly rottweiller is petrified!!

4.5 year old knows more about Diwali than me or DH. He brought a Diva lamp home at the end of term that we've lit today and he got me to draw robots all over his hands with an eye liner pencil earlier. Not entirely traditional but we got into the spirit of things I think.

He keeps going on about the light showing us the 'way home' but I'm lost.

Time for a bit of Wiki-ing I think!
