X Factor: To think that if Frankie Cocozza was girl...

...would her behaviour be so well received?
Audition 1 girl 18 walks onto stage and announces her love for boys to prove the point she reveals the tattooed names of 6 boys on her behind.
It's the 21st Century, would the crowd and judges have whooped so enthusiastically?
Sure she has a great personality and is full of fun however her singing is pretty weak and when challenged with being ousted from the competition she cheers herself up with a night out with the girls, drinking far too much and 'allegedly' bedding 5 men in one night.
Would her actions, in this 21st Century have proved her comeback, a resurgence of her strength, her determination, kept her in the competition?
Somehow I doubt it; somehow I doubt she would've got through the first audition.
These double standards p*ss me off no end.

Heidicat I knew who you were posting about before even checking the link. Didn't approve of her either. Not that my opinion matters, each to their own.

BOOOF Grin at syphillitic boil and hissing.

OP YANBU - although I'm not sure I'd want to be encouraging any woman to behave the way he does?

Couldn't agree with you more. It is gruesome and horrible to watch. Plus I thought that bit on the audition where he revealed the girls names on tatooed on his bum was vile and totally inappropriate for family veiwing.

I don't think he is popular. Mark my words, he was probably 3rd from the bottom this week. 'Rocks' is an effing terrible song, made even worse by his shambling vocals. I've heard him called a 'walking STD fountain, with 2 pepperamis' for legs - which is the kind of 'compliment' I can only approve of and encourage.

Agree he's being manipulated- if the producers didn't want him to go out, get pissed and be in the papers they wouldn't have sent him out with a camera crew Hmm. All that swaggering, posturing, Gary telling him not to go out again etc just seemed a bit fake and set up.

I didn't like him the first time I saw him. He went even further down in my estimation, after seeing the clip of him, on the x-factor, on Saturday and I didn't think that was possible.

Grin @ "...but instead got a syphilitic boil which emits a hissing sound that passes for singing when squeezed."

Bottom line is this years cast isn't great and the producers had to find lots of controversial and hopefully exciting reasons for people to keep watching. He's just one of them.

"a syphilitic boil which emits a hissing sound that passes for singing when squeezed", whoa now that's what I call putting thought into your insults.
Seriously though, its not right. When my boys (and girl) watch X Factor is the key to success working hard or blowing away the cobwebs with too much alcohol and loads of sex.
Poor lad's gonna crash when he doesn't win.

I quite agree with you I find him repulsive. I disagree on the singing issue, I love his voice he has a similar tone to Pete Doherty.

He lives ;ocal to me and moves in similar circles to ds who says he hs been at many parties where he has been and he is not particularly bad or awful in any way! Which is interesting I think the x factor is desperate for credibility but it will never have it and this is just another fail
