mindthegap you can use colief if you are breast feeding you only need to express a tiny amount of milk to mix it into.

DS1 often had long periods of unexplained crying in the evenings, everyone said it was colic but I wasn't sure.

DS2 had what I would call colic. Knees up to chest, bright red, terrible screaming cry from about 4pm until 9 or 10 at night. He wouldn't feed, it didn't matter if you put him down, picked him up whatever he just screamed.
I used to cook dinner for my other DC with him in my arm screaming, when DH got in at 7 I virtually threw DS2 at him for a bit of respite. It was an awful, awful time.

YADNBU - they are both shit. And probably torture for the baby.

Ds1 and Ds2 both had colic and relux!

Ds2 he was easier, colic cleared up much sooner and reflux isnt as bad, but still alot but nothing in comparison to his brother!!

Ds1, well... about 4 hrs screaming every night (plus crying after every feed with wind,) plus the hideous, hideous reflux. It made him lose weight, he was put on prescription milk, really bad projectile vomit etc it was awful, but infacol definitely did help, then later we had donperidone and ranitadine (sorry camt spell them,) and that helped too- but he was so bad that they suggested weaning him early and that helped, he still is a bit refluxy but only a tiny bit.

We used dentinox with ds2 and that was actually quite good to and a little cheaper than colic but harder to come by, infacol never seemed to work as well with him, he is still on milk full time so still has reflux and we did have infant gaviscon, which did fuck all as it did for both boys, butit seems to be settling now, I think.

Both boys hated laying on their backs and we keep ds2 and kept ds1 for 20 mins max after burping from feed because of extra wind and reflux.

Anyway, it varies baby to baby and everyone responds differently to different things, whatever works for you as a family.

You are being a bit smug OP
It's a little irritating.

Good for you that you have never had a baby with colic or reflux Hmm
