Is asking DH to carve out 25kilopumpkin in time for Halloween "a big ask"?

Brought home enormous pumpkin today and tasked DH with job of hollowing out and carving in time for Halloween. It almost didn't fit in car and the only place it goes inside is on top of freezer..I smell rebellion?

Can you get another massive pumpkin? I just love carving them with my kids :o

And all the wonderful pumpkin soup and pumpkin pie.

Sorry but it is the best way of describing the guy? He doesn't work there usually = random, and was dressed more to work outside on a farm (say) than in an office? Not trying to be horrible just factual? I bear him no ill will? Except now I do slightly because of my rotten pumpkin and being forced to explain myself in this fashion. heading for a flounce...

The new pumpkin bit back and I injured my finger. Bastard stupid pumpkin in agony now and having to have paracetamol before bed.
