Well am I?

Surely there cannot be a MNer (not even lurkers) who don't say 'Yanbu' as 'Yanboo'? Confused

I see: Am I being unreasonable?

It only takes a few seconds and I don't worry about those anymore...

Can't wait for when I retire!

A.I.B.U...

All else is mental gum chewing :o

You've got me sat here talking like Wall.E... thanks for that sigh

Time for sleep!

EllaDee · 14/10/2011 23:37

I agree, OP.

And to my great shame, I am immensely sad and the words 'my dee-aitch says ...' passed my lips today. Blush

I blame the fact I was in the company of known MNers. But I am still ashamed.

CaptainNancy · 14/10/2011 23:40

Have none of you ever said it aloud? Shock

Hehe- elladee- I have said 'Dee aitch' before now, thankfully only to other MNers or to DH himself. Wink

Yanboo. And sometimes I want to use that word, and aiboo, in RL. You watch, I bet they'll slip into the vernacular.

gomummygo · 14/10/2011 23:46

Yes, I've said "Dee aitch" as well as "Dee ess" irl more than once Blush, but the worst was actually saying "Oh, yanboo, that was so wrong... " to my mother after she told a work story, and not even realizing what I'd done or why she was looking at me that way! Grin

EllaDee · 14/10/2011 23:51

It's that 'you weird fuck' look that gets to me too ... Grin

minimisschief · 15/10/2011 00:06

why wouldn't you say it in full in your head. it is an acronym it makes fuck all sense reading it any other way.
