To think that Beyonce's bump DOES look fake in this video......

Her stomach folds on itself. She should be around 20 weeks pregnant if she is due in February. Her dress is fitting quite closely to the bump when she is standing, so how would the fabric just end up folding like that over a bump? Really strange. I'm due in January, and I my stomach couldn't fold like that 4 weeks ago.

I think that makes more sense HalfTermHero. When I was 20 weeks, my boobs were huge and,, going to a Christmas works do, I opted for an empire line dress which had the effect of making my whole body look bigger, bump included. Blush Not the greatest choice but comfy. Maybe she feels she looks fat rather than pregnant right now so opted to define the bump more. After all, she is on TV, we can slink home and put pjs on, she's on show.

that IS a big bump for 20 weeks. I think the bottom half of it is baby and the top half, when she is standing is belly (jelly?) she's wearing big comfy knickers and the crease is the waistband. thats my theory. if she's not preg she's loopy to be pretending.

Halftermhero - that does actually make slight sense...maybe the maternity dress has a sponge insert, like shoulder pads, to give a better round shape........

Mind you, if it is an 'enhanced' bump that Beyonce is sporting then it is quite disturbing to see how the ante is forever being upped.
Fake boobs, fake buttocks and now fake bumps....... will women ever be proud to just be themselves? Confused.

I think it looks like its been padded out for extra effect for sure.My sister is due at the same time and its her first and she only just shows.Have you seen Beyonces abs?No way would her bump be that big yet.

I would be very surprised if her bump is really that big at 20 weeks what with it being her first and the fact she probably has very strong stomach muscles from all the dancing.
I reckon she really is pregnant but as she is now marketing herself as 'pregnant Beyonce' and is using it to gain as much publicity as possible she is enhancing her bump to emphasise the image.

I was that bit at 20 weeks with my first - I have a piture of me in a bikini - I was massive!
I think this is a pretty nasty little bit of gossip about her to be honest

I think she's probably using a fake bump to fool everyone about her real due date. Can't blame her really. I wouldn't have wanted the worlds media snapping pics of me waddling into hospital just as my waters broke and leaving a little trickle behind me Blush

I had very strong stomach muscles, MWs couldn't feel the baby even at 7/8 months ( I was in hospital for 2 months so was prodded a lot). My bump was flat but still came out IYSWIM. At 5 months I was starting to wear maternity clothes and couldn't fit it to most of my normal clothes. I remember as I had to go to my uncles funeral and found it difficult to find something to fit me

Someone else made this point on another site, but I'm nicking it... if she was doing it to create confusion about the due date to avoid paps, then it's daft because it's the wrong way round - you would want to say your date was later than it actually was, because then you would be able to nip to the hospital a month or two earlier without being watched every moment. But if you make your bump look bigger than it really is, it will seem like you should be giving birth earlier, so by the time you actually do you will supposedly be in the 11th month of pregnancy and there will be even more press interest!

Angles, everybody! FFS, give the girl a break.

I had so many comments on my bumps. I have 2 DDs, both times the consensus was I was having a boy, due to shape of my bump.

For DD1, I was at least as skinny as Beyonce. At least one person noticed my almost non-existent bump before I announced I was pg (at 5 months).

Give the girl a break. More power to her if she wants to create confusion about her due date.
