AIBU?

to get annoyed at comments on my pregnancy shape

..the in-laws think it's fine to openly remark that I'm big for three months. I feel like a bloated hippo anyway, I really don't need to be picked over.
Why does pregnancy mean open season for comments on someone's figure?

I'm fully aware that my hormones can turn me into a prissy bitch.

Most people will say you look big for x months unless you are not showing at all, I have found anyway.

Doesn't mean you have to like it!

YABslightlyU

People will always comment. I'm 26 weeks with my first and had my DM tell me I look about 8.5months pregnant on Saturday. Only a mother, eh?

Also had a very enthusiastic and slightly pissed MIL stick her hand into my crotch to 'feel the baby kick' one evening. Had to point out to her that if she felt him kick there she better get FIL to get the car out of the garage and get me to a&e...

YANBU - At 3 months, it's bloating, not baby, so people saying 'Oh don't you look bloated!' is pretty rude!

It is annoying hormaonal or otherwise I'm not sure how anyone can think otherwise going 'you're huge' is not polite or nice

I was on the ward when I got asked by another patient who had had a rather small baby, If I was having twins whilst I was on the phone, I do think some people forget their manners whilst preganant and I think its unfair you are expected to smile and giggle disengenuninely sfter beinf told your the size of a small country

YANBU. The only acceptable comment is 'you look great.'
