AIBU to have given ds 2.5 a bag of skips for his breakfast

am sick, have flu sipping on my lemsip on MN dp in bed and just plonked ds in front of film cars with a bag of skips.

in my defence he ate half a banane before said bag of skips.

should i take parenting classes??

YANBU. I second the breathing steam option, even if you can't get menthol (you can dissolve Vicks or use Olbas Oil drops as well). I've got a respiratory infection and it's done wonders. Had two last night (1x ten minutes, 1x fifteen minutes) and felt normal for a whole hour afterwards

Am gobsmaked that you did breakfast at all if you've got reinforcements in the house...

DD woke 5 mins before we had to leave for swimming the other morning. I gave her a 'continental' breakfast of bread and butter a piece of cheese and a fig! Not sure what continent it was from .
